This practical Course covers all aspects of beekeeping which require the use of low and high power microscope.
This course is also suited to those who have never used a Microscope as well as those that have

These include

• Preparing microscopes
• Preparing Pollen Slide
• Disection of Honey Bee exoskeleton
• Preparing slides of honey bee exoskeletons
• looking for evidence of specific diseases and parasites such as Nosema apis and Acarapis woodi.
• microscopy, oil immersion
  
  This Course is particularly useful for anyone intending to take the microscopy examination of the British Beekeepers' Association.

All microscopes and other equiptment are provided but if you can bring around 40 freshly killed bees with you. You can test your own bees for Nosema.
