Virgin Queens are perfect If you have had a hive that has been without a Queen for a while. Virgins are accepted by the hive without any problems you can just run them in no introduction. but I would advice a short induction so the bees get used to them being there The Virgins I send out are around 3 days old they will then have up to day 43 to be mated with the drones in your area. Simple and cheap way to get back to a Queen Right State!
( Day 43 = from egg laid)

Bees are as hard as nails and can cope with the extreme winter weather
